History

Corr Distributors is a family owned and operated business with over 80 years of experience in maintenance supply distribution. From our humble beginnings selling floor sanders in the Buffalo area, we have grown into a statewide distributor supplying a diverse customer base with high quality cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.


Edward C. Corr founded E. C. Corr Distributors in 1925 when he moved with his wife Marian from Toledo, Ohio to Buffalo, New York. In the 1950's the business moved to a 5,000 square foot facility on Main Street in Buffalo. Under the leadership of his son and daughter-in-law John and Maureen Corr, Corr Distributors became a more comprehensive sanitary supply house, expanding its equipment line and marketing chemicals to a growing customer base.

In the 1970's Corr Distributors partnered with Misco Products to produce and market a line of private label chemicals that quickly gained a loyal following among customers. In 1985 the growing business moved to a 13,000 square foot facility on Chandler Street in Buffalo.

Corr has always been at the forefront of sustainability initiatives, and in 2005 we became one of the first distributors in the nation to carry private label Green Seal certified chemicals.

In the summer of 2006 we moved to our current 28,000 square foot facility on Pearce Avenue in Tonawanda, New York. This move not only doubled the size of our warehouse but also gave us ample room to expand if necessary.

Corr is now operated by the third generation of the Corr family – Edward and Carol Corr and Kathleen (Corr) and Kevin Crimmen. We have 30 employees, including a 10 person sales force with over 100 years of combined experience, two full time machine repair technicians, and one office dog – Moose Corr.


Our customers include school districts, universities, municipalities, health care facilities, and cleaning contractors, all of whom have come to rely on Corr Distributors to provide state of the art maintenance solutions at competitive prices.
